Monday, March 23, 2020: COLOR

Thank you to all photographers! We had over 300 entries for “Color” The submissions came from customers of about 10 different Photo Finale retailers across the US and Canada. We had beautiful entries from both amateurs and pros, photos both planned out and candid, shots full of many colors and some showcasing one color. In the end, we chose 3 winners, but couldn’t resist posting some of other great shots that stood out as honorable mentions. Click on any photo to view it larger. Friday, March 27, 2020: HOME

This theme yielded the least submissions, but the probably the most thought-provoking ones! We had pictures of home as a place: houses, farms, yards, cities, towns, monuments, countries; and a number of homes for animals–squirrels, birds, chipmunks. We also had photos of what you find in the home: stairs, windows, porches, plants; as well as a home’s occupants: people, pets, parents, kids. We also had a number of shots that played on the idea of being cozy and safe at home: shots of bonfires, cooking, puzzles, books, coffee. Quite an interesting mix!
