Features & Fixes

• Redesigned Facebook login authentication (for both downloading and uploading photos) supporting Facebook’s latest API changes and using a new Lucidiom-hosted proxy server that has been IP-address whitelisted by Facebook to reduce (and hopefully prevent) instances where customers are unable to log in due to security “road blocks”.
• New Folio Creative Content facilities to a) create a new folio product and have it inherit the same list of folio styles as another product, and b) easily attach a new folio style to the same list of products that another style is attached to. This allows dealers to easily create their own styles and products that tie into and take advantage of the Lucidiom master content.
• Gifting content from new fulfillers will automatically be exported during order creation to a folder with the name of the fulfiller, rather than requiring the kiosk’s apmconfig_apm.xml to be updated with additional nodes for each fulfiller.
• Photos whose aspect ratios are very close to the product’s aspect ratio (e.g. off by only a few pixels) are now ignored by the Review Photos screen when showing photos that will be cropped.
• Fixed issue that would show customers the timeout warning when loading a large set of images from an iPhone/iPad.
• The “configurationless printing” feature originally introduced in APM 8.1 will now use an existing Hotfolder driver, if one is configured, to ensure the best compatibility with the desired configuration and to prevent a problem with images from configured and non-configured products overwriting each other.
• Added a new option to the Fuji PIC driver to force rendering of photos if they are over a specified file size limit, to alleviate memory problems on older PICs.
• Improved photo download from a Photo Finale account.
• Fixed issue causing orders with certain products (such as 4×8 flat card) to fail to print via the Hotfolder driver when the “Create Type Subfolder” option was enabled.
• Added support for backprint configuration for the Fuji JobMaker print driver.
• Fixes export of custom gifts that use a fulfiller tag of “local”.
• Fixed folio/gifting products that output a rendered page as well as an original photo, which had been broken in v8.1.
• Remove outdated Photo Finale Desktop software from the installer.
• The Setup Wizard no longer causes custom Quick Order pricing to be lost.
• Fixes problem not using source page specified in an <output> spec when generating single photo exports in a folio product.
• Corrected a typo in the Setup Wizard’s Tax Settings screen.
• Fixed several small issues on the Membership Sign-Up screen, including maintaining selection when returning, showing the correct number of plans in view, and enabling the continue button when returning to selection page when a selection has been made.
• Re-introduced support for Kodak dye-sub (6800 model) printers.
• Fixed a crash in cases where the membership product does not exist in apmconfig_apm.xml file.
• On the Review Photos screen, when an invalid photo is to be shown we now remove all products from that photo and show a message indicating that the photo will be removed from the order.
• Fixed filtering “by folder” when the user photos are limited by the maximum import count.
• The kiosk will now stop loading backup items (e.g. movie files) from the user’s media if an Image CD/DVD has not been ordered, to speed up the order processing.
• Fixed a crash at shutdown if there are less than four product groups configured and at least once category group appears as a primary button.
• Changed the behavior of failures to render folio pages at design time to continue generating what parts of a page it can. If an image fails to load, we then remove it from the photo cell.
